Vitamin E in carotenoid rich red palm oil has anti-cancer effects



Carotino Palm Oil is the richest source of Tocotrienols (E Vitamin form).


Carotino is rich in tocotrienols, a very rare form of vitamin E.


Tocotrienols have 40-60 times higher antioxidant efficacy than α-tocopherol.

No other known vegetable oil (except rice oil) contains significant amounts of this vitamin form.

Palm oil has anti-cancer properties.


Palm oil is a source of Vitamin E. The vitamin consists of two components:


Tocopherol and Tocotrienol.

The different forms of vitamin E differ in their biological activity.

Tocopherols are a group of vitamin E consisting of four forms, from which alpha - tocopherol is the most active component of vitamin E.


Tocotrienols are a group of vitamin E consisting of four forms of alpha, beta, delta, gamma tocotrienols.

Tocotrienol is a powerful antioxidant and is a very important component of vitamin E.

The content of vitamin E in food is expressed in alpha - tocopherol equivalents.


The main role of Vitamin E in the body is to be an antioxidant. It inhibits the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids and Vitamin A. It also helps maintain the stability of cell membranes, destroys free radicals, plays an important role in cell aging, arthritis and is essential for the normal functioning of the body.


Anti-oxidants are substances that inhibit or prevent the oxidation of organic matter by oxygen. Polyunsaturated fatty acids in the membranes of structural lipid cells are particularly sensitive to oxidation by free radicals. Vitamin E is found in all tissues, mainly muscles and tissues.


Due to the antioxidant activity of Vitamin E, there may be a link that inhibits the development of cancer.

Vitamin E promotes the protection of cells against oxidation.
